ANNA TOOMBS
Anna Toombs
Anna has been coaching in health and fitness since 1997, beginning her career teaching aerobic dance and personal training, working on board cruise ships as fitness director. Anna’s persistent interest in new movement methods led her to study Pilates with renowned Pilates veteran Michael King, becoming certified over a number of years to teach both matwork and equipment based Pilates.
In 2003, Anna joined forces with David Robinson and together they began to devise a flexible movement system that would be successful for elite athletes and novice exercisers alike. Anna has a degree in psychology and incorporates the mind as well as the body in her approach with her clients, who range from experienced runners to individuals with back pain or injury.
Anna has always been a keen runner but finds that running completely barefoot allows her to find her best form, leading to faster, increased mileage with less effort.
Anna works with runners of all abilities, helping them to discover their own best technique.
